Terms of Service
Questions about it can go to hello@operate.as.
Effective October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Arcaro Labs LLC ("Operate As", "we", "us"). They cover the Operate As website, dashboard, API, MCP server and client pages (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining an organization or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on that business's behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
If your organization signed a separate agreement with us, such as an enterprise contract, that agreement wins wherever it differs from these terms.
Who's who
- Agency (or "you"): the business that holds an Operate As organization and invites its clients.
- Member: a person on an agency's team who signs in to the dashboard.
- Client: a business or person an agency invites, through a client link, to connect their accounts on other services.
- Connected service: a third-party product a client connects, such as Google, Slack or HubSpot.
- Connection: the access a client grants to one connected service, which we store and use on the agency's behalf.
The Service
Operate As lets an agency send a client one link. On that link, the client saves a passkey and connects the services the agency asked for, approving the permissions shown. The agency can then use that access from AI agents, automation tools, the API or its own code, through keys we issue. We keep connections renewed, check every call against the limits you set, and tell you when access stops working.
We may change, add or remove features over time. The list of supported services also changes, because connected services change their own products, approvals and terms. If we remove something that materially reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
Your account
You need an account to use the dashboard. Give us accurate information and keep it current. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure, including your password, authenticator and recovery codes, and for everything done under your account.
An organization's owner and its admins decide who joins, what each member can do and who manages billing. The agency is responsible for its members and for what they do in the Service.
You must be at least 18 to create an account. The Service is for business use, not personal or household use.
Your clients' permission
Operate As only works if clients trust the access they hand over. When you invite a client, you agree that:
- You have the client's permission to request access to the services and permissions you choose, and you ask only for what your work for them needs.
- You use their access only for the work they agreed to, and within any agreement you have with them.
- You stop using a connection when the client removes it or asks you to, and you remove clients you no longer work for.
- You are responsible for your relationship with each client, including any contract, data processing terms and notices your work for them requires.
A client can remove any connection from their page at any time, and you can remove a client from your dashboard. Either way, we cancel the access with the connected service where it allows, and delete our copy.
Keys, agents and calls
The keys we issue let your workflows, agents and code make calls with your clients' access. You are responsible for every call made with your organization's keys, including calls an AI agent decides to make on its own. Keep keys secret, give each the narrowest clients, services and tools it needs, and revoke any you think has been exposed.
We enforce the limits you set on our servers, and we send alerts when a key behaves unexpectedly. Those safeguards reduce risk; they don't make us responsible for what your agents or code do with access you've given them.
Connected services
Each connected service is run by its own provider, under its own terms and privacy policy. When a client connects one, their use of it stays subject to those terms, and so do the calls you make through it. You agree to follow them, including their rate limits and data rules.
We don't control connected services and aren't responsible for them. A provider may change its API, withdraw approval, limit access or revoke a connection at any time, and that can stop some calls from working. When a connection stops working, we'll tell you and the client so it can be reconnected.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- Access an account or data without the owner's permission, or beyond the permission they gave.
- Send spam, phishing or malware, or take part in fraud.
- Break the law, or a connected service's terms.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
- Probe, scan or test the Service's security without our written permission, or get around its limits, keys, passkeys or billing.
- Overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law lets you regardless of this term.
- Resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Connect a service that holds protected health information under HIPAA, unless we've signed a business associate agreement with you.
Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome to report issues to us at security@operate.as.
Plans and billing
Free plan. Every organization starts on the Free plan, which is for trying the Service and needs no card. It has small limits, and you can choose a paid plan at any time. Your clients and their connections stay in your account when you do.
Subscriptions. Plans are a flat price, billed monthly or yearly in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel. Extra calls on paid plans are billed after they're made, on your next invoice. Each plan sets limits such as clients, new clients a month, members and calls. Prices and limits are shown on our pricing page and when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you agree to its terms when you pay.
Usage limits. On the Free plan, new calls pause when your organization reaches its call allowance, until the allowance resets or you upgrade. On a paid plan, calls past the allowance continue and are billed at the price per 1,000 calls shown on our pricing page and when you subscribe, up to three times the allowance in a period or any lower limit you set in Billing; past that, new calls pause until the allowance resets or you upgrade. You can also turn extra calls off, so calls pause at the allowance. Calls pause at the allowance on a free trial or while an invoice is overdue. Clients you've already connected keep their connections, whatever your plan.
Changes. Upgrades take effect right away and are prorated. Downgrades take effect from your next billing date.
Cancelling. You can cancel from Billing in your dashboard at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again, except for extra calls and per-use charges already made, which are billed when it ends. Until then you can keep your plan with one click. After it ends, your organization moves to the Free plan and keeps its clients, connections and data. Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we retry it over the next few days. If it still can't be collected, we may pause your organization until it's paid.
Taxes and prices. Prices don't include taxes, which you're responsible for unless we collect them. We may change our prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription, and it applies from your next renewal.
Your data
You keep all rights to the data you and your clients put into the Service, and to the data your calls carry. You give us permission to host, store, copy, transmit and process it only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you, and as described in our privacy policy. For your clients' data, we act on your behalf and follow your instructions, which are your use of the Service and its settings. Our data processing agreement forms part of these terms and covers how we handle it.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it or your clients' data to train AI models.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Our property
The Service, including its software, design and documentation, belongs to us and our licensors. While you follow these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business. Our names and logos are ours. Please don't use them without asking, except to describe accurately that you use Operate As.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your organization or account at any time from your dashboard.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts the Service, our other customers, your clients or a connected service at risk, if payment is overdue, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable and allowed, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
When an organization is deleted, its clients' connections are cancelled with each service where it allows, and our copies are deleted. Client links and keys stop working. Some records, such as the activity log and billing records, are kept for the periods in our privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those on fees owed, data, disclaimers, liability and indemnity, will survive it.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the Service available, secure and accurate. Even so, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every connected service will keep working, or that calls will always succeed. Your plan's terms may include an uptime commitment; if so, that commitment applies to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if told they were possible.
- Each party's total liability arising from or relating to these terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100.
These limits don't apply to your payment obligations, to either party's indemnity obligations, or to liability that can't be limited by law.
Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, brought by a third party (including one of your clients or a connected service) that arise from your use of the Service in breach of these terms, from access you used without a client's permission, or from what your agents, workflows or code did with your keys.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it's needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both parties agree to their jurisdiction.
General
These terms, and any order or agreement that refers to them, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent, except to a successor of your whole business; we may assign them to an affiliate or a successor. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to you go to your account's email address; notices to us go to hello@operate.as.
If you're a client
If an agency sent you a link, you don't need an account. Your agency is responsible for asking you before requesting access and for how they use it, under your arrangement with them. On your page you save a passkey, connect the services you choose and approve the permissions shown. You can see what your agency uses and remove any connection at any time. The acceptable use rules above apply to you too. How we handle your information is covered in our privacy policy.
